MH,

But I have a feeling if Intel says it is faster but Via says it is not, then who do you think the public will believe? Probably Intel, don't you think!?

Agreed. I also think that saying "800 MHz Memory Inside" would turn heads without having to prove anything whatsoever.

As for the Rambus web site registrations, I have to say that I hope the campaign isn't "At the Speed of Rambus". For the 99.999% of the population that has no idea what Rambus is, this would mean nothing. Suppose I said "At the speed of Eidelbub" to the folks here. Would that mean anything to you? Suddenly, you have to get into "Explanation Mode" with the customer, and for anyone who's not sure, Explanation Mode is a BAD thing. You don't want to have to explain things to customers. You want them to be impressed and buy without explanation. "At the speed of Rambus" is a slogan begging for an explanation.

JMO,

Dave
