I'm not sure I follow your list of conclusions:

these were "my" conclusions...
i prefer a history of honesty and integrity.
i prefer the superior product.
i prefer the superior marketing machine i.e. intel and dell et al.
i prefer having the speed upgrade, even if i don't need it.
i prefer having the overwhelming majority of the industry's biggest and baddest players on my bench.

i think rambus has already won. just need to fix the scoreboard lights so everyone can see.

dan,
your questions were about these points...
rdram is miles away from pc-133.
rdram 800 yield is averaging 80%.
6 companies have validated rdram, 2 more expected before the end of the year.
by 2001 rambus expects to have over 50% 0f the dram market.
pc-133 is not a problem for rambus.
everything appears to be on track.
goal in packaging is to have rdram cost 10% more.
in 6 months expect cost to be the same.

these points are not my conclusions...i am just the messenger.
those are statements made by two of the most conservative people i know when it comes to speaking publicly about rambus. these points were made during the last conference call a few weeks ago by rambus ceo and cfo.
unclewest

are your statements your opinion? do you have links to the companies involved substantiating your claims? not trying to frustrate you...just looking for more info.

did you notice? they said 50% of the dram market. that equals 100% of the pc dram market. of course they only expect pc's to account for 35% of revenues...maybe rambus knows something about other design wins.

"Intel's world looks to be turning over tomorrow" or something like that. You have got to be kidding?
