He was not inside the loop, LTCM was busted on purpose and my gang with Creemspams help took over the assets for pennies on the dollar. Merriweather was a renegade & to big for his pants and so he was set up. Ironically he had very good bets but just couldn't hold them , it was the inverse of the short squeeze. He failed to pay his dues and thought he could outsmart the good ole boys..many a smarty pants has gone broke trying that, but don't worry it was mostly Arab money that vanished, we had to rip them off to help bring them in line for our price fixing scheme on oil. We like it when the Arabs make tons of money because they are so easy to steal from. Jim
