You live there long enough to meet some of the neighbors, the kids make friends, start to school. You find a favorite supermarket, gas station. Then the city passes an law about something or other and you have to move to the other side of town. Your neighbors have to move too. You don't get to choose your house, you have to take what is assigned. The carpet is shag of all things, and the colors are wrong for your furniture. The supermarket is no longer convenient nor is the gas station. The kids have to change schools, and everyone has to make new friends. Then you find out what the law was that was passed by the city: It was a law requiring the sidewalks be painted. You had to move so they could paint the sidewalks. Can you imangine such a thing??? PCM
