I always ask myself that question.. right now I am asking myself
re internet taxes for states.. waiting to see what happens.. ie there was a gambling ruling by new york judge that taxes should be paid where the start of the gambling took place..new york ..going to be interesting..wonder how many cyber businesses will move outside state..
One way to reduce taxes would be to have all the government workers
have a change in their pension system and benefits..they should put them on social security period and then have them given same health benefits and pension scale same as average american..
that might give legislators reason to look at average tax payer
If I got this one straight one of my relatives by marriage..trust fund welfare recipient has full medical coverage by government because he
worked for adminstration years ago for a few years..under five..
think I got that one right but maybe I misunderstood..
How many entrepeneurs and small businesses have fueled this economy..
I am assuming..again probably I might be misinformed..that they don't
get the same tax breaks as the big corporations..they don't have the lobbyists etc..I think so many taxpayers have been given good jobs
from those start up businesses..
Remember when a t and t laid off so very many people and their chairman got a bonus that could have paid those people's salaries..
Corporate welfare is to me a different form of communism..
Why should the taxpayer be doubly taxed..on his income and on the products he buys and the corporate welfare act benefit nonearned income and corporate heads etc and passive investors?
If corporations paid their share, then the taxpayer would pay less and be able to spend more..If corporations paid more, then more small businesses would have a better chance at success and create more jobs
for people and create more demand

What happens to those people who are going to be thrown off welfare
in a few years..
things don't have to continue on in the same fashion.
there are so many programs that could be created for long term
beneficial results..
I have a CVS close to where I live..geez..I just bought a cheap pair of speakers for ten dollars..made in china. I bought a grill for 30 dollars made by Salton and manufactured in China
How many welfare people here could have assembled those products here.. why can't the government help fund some coops where the people whose skills are being shipped abroad..not everybody has the same
abilities..some are good at analysis..some are good at the concrete..
geez..why can't the government spend money up front to start some of
these businesses and manufacturer here and let the recipients or the workers in these startups become the shareholders?
that would solve a problem down the road..instead of perpetuating
the problem ..
give people an incentive and they won't need prozac if they afford that or cigarettes if they don't have a health plan :-)
why are so many people on Prozac?
