IMO, LPWR has the better scatter profile. It worked its way into a tight configuration rather than just ending up there as LODG seems to have done.
Since one component of the scatter, the 13, 25, 2, is also used to find the stock's SMI bullish threshold, tightness at or slightly above the bullish threshold is preferable.
As it turns out, LPWR doesn't have much to work with in that respect but back on 9/16/97 the price made a move that shows 38 on the SMI is a likely candidate. A horizontal at that value is proving to be technical resistance now. A break over 38 or 38.5 should be a good buy signal if the other periods cross over the 13, 25, 2. They're all slightly below it here. It's a hiccup on volume kinda thing now. The timing's there and all it needs is the volume.
