Foreigners at least know there are other markets to invest in. I'll bet the smart money are pulling the plug no matter where they are. We'll probably see an orderly, steady decline to the bottom, unless there is a panic :0)

I'll bet there will be an enormous battering of the $ in here. This would help keep the foreign money from leaving (also the yen carry trades) and may help ease the squeeze on the markets when the fed tightens again.
