†...Thank you and God bless you mightily...† My good brother Eddie, only another Christian knows the warmth and the joy that is felt when others are in prayer for them. Your sincere warm response touched me in a really big way. Our Father is so wonderfully good to send us such sincere brothers and sisters in the Lord. I can't even begin to tell you how reading your post warmed my spirit. I covet all the prayers of all the brethren. And I too also read and pray for all the other needs on this blessed thread. I don't know if you know of the cancer that is threatening to take the life of my brother-in-law Tony, let me bring you up to date. He was diagnosed with Melanoma in Dec.1998 He has had multiple surgical procedures. He has had radiation and Chemo. treatments. In Dec. he had one tumor, today he has 5. The Drs. have not given him much hope. But we, his family are standing on the promises of God to heal him in Jesus's name!!! Most of us are praying without ceasing. I am convinced that it is the will of God to heal him, and I will not stop letting Him know...that we are waiting on Him. My prayer has been to boost up his immune system by having the good cells.... T-cells (these attack cancer cells) multiply by 1 billion..so as to go out and attack all the cancer cells in order to cut off the blood supply to the tumors until that the tumors just shrink away and die!!! God designed the immune system to keep us healthy...when it is weak, for whatever reason, it cannot perform at its optimum level. So my prayer is that God intervenes at least to that extent,... to give my brother-in-law a fighting chance!!! I have visions of his immune system gearing up to a better than supernatural performance!!!...!!! I also envision the tumors all totally disappearing!!!! Dear: EddieMacG; Greetings in the name of the Lord. You capture the character and personality of an innovative, resourceful, hand to hand, combatant. Scripture refers to the firery darts of an enemy used in close proximity, and in defensive positions. As a prayer partner you indicate your desire to engage the enemy in trench warfare and in close proximity to those that will become your timely friends, and close confidants. I am excited about your willingness and your unselfish motives. But, I am thrilled about the ample reward you have already received with the cloak or mantle of the highest distinction. May you wear it proudly for it will give you entrances and exits, and victories and resources and empowerment, in Christ name.......Amen....
