bearcub,

you are ignoring c.k.houston's excellent research...

I was simply using a small example to try to illustrate the range of information interpretation that seems to happen on this thread, to sympathize with kholt and others of the middleground area.

you both are looking at the wrong end of the horse here.

Well, sometimes on this thread I certainly do feel as though I am gazing into the rear end of said critter.

no insurance?
no doctors.

That's quite a leap you make, can you please explain how you accomplish it, it just doesn't seem realistic to me.

Thanks, AngelIQUE

<you are ignoring c.k.houston's excellent research into the re-writing of medical malpractice insurance policies which RULE OUT covering anyone associated with any medical facility who has not received y2k compliant equipment certification.>

This doesn't ring a bell with me. I don't recall hearing about that, nor posting the above information. Perhaps you could provide a link? If true, it's a pretty frightening prospect.

I really haven't followed the nuances of malpractice insurance as they relate to Y2K compliance. I'm not sure what kind of exceptions are now in these policies.

Here's some up-to-date info though, on testing medical devices.
