PB: RE: I am extremely pleased with the situation as it stands. I'm pleased if you're pleased <vbg>. Really, the Intel thread is scary. Hard for us lurkers to lurk when there's so little posting. Is everyone waiting to hear the AMD announcements before sharing thoughts? As Tony said, Intel can move pretty fast for a pretty big company. That, and their commitment to a vision of tomorrow, is what impresses me the most. Their willingness to zig and zag when they need to change that vision, isn't so bad either. Will AMD surprise us? Will Intel share a few surprises as well? Appreciate your comments on Coppermine. And the beat goes on...dmf
