Re: ZDNet Article / Citrix's Program Neighborhood

From the article: "But a glance at recent acquisitions shows exactly what is planned: Digitivity, a Java specialist; Insignia, which produced Ntrigue, a licensed version of WinFrame with X support, and most recently ViewSoft. ViewSoft is interesting: a veteran tools developer recently taken to delivering complex server-side COM applications for thin clients." ..... In the long run, the simple ICA protocol becomes an application broker offering full cross-platform support. And application service providers will be able to offer a far fuller range of services to Web surfers than they could with Win32. How SCO responds with its Tarantella application broker, we'll find out before the next issue.

Mike,
Thanks for the stab at it. I agree about the bold statements but I still don't get it?

Didn't you get a big laugh out of how he started out the paragraph above, "But a glance at recent aquisitions shows exactly what is planned.." So we should know, "exactly what is planned," right? :)

Anyone else want to make a stab at what the author (or Citrix) is planning? I have a feeling there's something important in the above paragraph.
Thanks,
MikeM(From Florida)
