PB,

<I don't consider myself in denial. I believe I have a pretty good handle about what's going on. However, it is plain to me that the AMDroid's posting here are in serious denial about Intel's ability to respond on many fronts, including your main axiom, whcih I'll let you chant. >

I don't know if you consider me an AMDroid but on this day of celebration on this thread I wanted to chip in and sound a word of caution to AMD longs who may take Intel less seriously that I do.

I have to say that right now it looks like Intel can pull a surprise and pull in CuMine to even early October. That would dramatically increase the chance of adoption for the Christmas quarter. Having said that, I still do not believe Intel has a chance of staying at parity on MHz. 700MHz looks like a done deal for AMD by the time CuMine comes on board.

In what may be admission of the intensity at the high-end I gather that Intel is planning on taking no chances at the low-end to mid-range and two Intel design teams are looking at yanking out Rambus controller from the CuMine chipsets and out of Timna to better focus on cost sensitive applications.
