Dear Brent,

Good observations, pretty much on the money as far as we're concerned.

No question that Taiwan and China present real issues in market entry and penetration. Perhaps that's why we're not there, yet. However, we have the best operation in Hong Kong, and we're learning from that and from the excellent people there.

Australia also presents problems and opportunities, as noted. The market is not huge (population of Taiwan is greater than Australia), the territory is. But, connectivity around the continent is excellent. We're looking for the right business opportunity.

As for venture opportunities, we have always done some, where there looks to be a good small company developing technology or market that is sympathetic with ours. We are currently looking at increasing this activity, since there is so much development going on. Stay tuned.

As for IXC and Cincy Bell, both good companies, we're looking forward to continuing our excellent relationships with both.

Bottom line, you understand our strategy, we're continuing to execute on it. Sure wish the markets gave us more credit for that, but I'm confident that they'll come around.

Regards,

David Kunkel
