I agree we have a certain amount of inter- subjectivity, but that is limited by our own
unique consciousness determined (imo) by our unique hard wiring. We all see color,
hear sounds and even more importantly, interpret our worlds, in a completely
subjective fashion- we can't know how variant because, as yet, we can't get inside
other peoples heads. And often when we thing we agree, we may not, but does it
matter if we never discover there was no agreement? Because language, our method of
communication, is imprecise it allows wiggle room for our differences in perception. If
we were telepaths I think we would find shocking discontinuities between our own
thoughts re- stimuli, and the thoughts of others- and even then we would not have
perfect understanding because we would still not "see" the primary stimuli through the
senses of the observer.
