SportsPrize Announces Official Launch Date of Web Site

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- SportsPrize Entertainment, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: JOCK - news) today announced the official launch date of its sports-related
entertainment, information and e-commerce Web site, SportsPrize.com. The ``SportsPrize Tournament' and e-commerce stores will undergo a public beta test under
password protection from September 15 to October 5, with the official public launching of the site sportsprize.com scheduled for Wednesday, October 6, 1999.

On October 6, 1999 SportsPrize.com will kick off the SportsPrize Tournament, a unique and entertaining game that challenges sports fans to test their knowledge and
intuition in the widest array of sports for the chance to win points, merchandise and exciting prizes. Additional content, such as live sports scores, timely sporting information
and real-time statistics, will add further excitement for visitors to SportsPrize.com.

The e-commerce component integral to the SportsPrize Web site will feature three distinct storefronts. The ``Winner's Mall' will sell the most popular items from each sports
sector and members of the community will be offered discounts, based on points accumulated playing the SportsPrize Tournament. The 'Clearance Mall' will offer sporting
equipment, apparel and footwear at rock-bottom clearance prices, and the 'SuperStore' will feature branded and non-branded sports equipment, apparel, memorabilia and
footwear at competitive prices. A fourth storefront, the 'SportsPrize Auction' which will showcase sports memorabilia as well as general new and used sports merchandise
that members can auction off, is under development.

In addition to the SportsPrize Tournament and e-commerce storefronts, SportsPrize will offer its members the chance to 'Opt-In' to special online and offline marketing and
promotional programs. These programs, which will also be made available to SportsPrize advertisers and strategic partners, will contain offers and opportunities targeted to
the specific interests of the members, based on information collected from members and reflective of their use of the site. All information collected about members will be
protected by the site's published Privacy Policy and used only with the permission of the member.

SportsPrize.com's goal is to evolve into a complete community focused on news, events, e-commerce and interactive services that will allow members to enrich their love of
sports.

OGPS gapping up as expected..with NITE doing his best to be the high bid..but he keeps getting jumped over

www.profitpicks.com in the rumors section just gave OGPS a 30day target of $6 (probably conservative if news comes out within that timeframe)... but they just screwed my chance to buy more at $3.. oh well.. I'll add when we cross and hold each dollar level .. especially the magical $5 mark.
