According to my sources, in Taiwan, the cost of materials used is around $ 3, with depreciation and other expenses counted: $ 1 to 1.50 more.

Let me guess - this is the same 'source' that said he couldn't sell DRAM in the U.S. for under $8.

bhb, that is $4.50. mu had an asp last q of $7.00 and lost $25 million. shouldn't they be making $2.50 per chip sold instead of losing $0.30 per chip? where did the other $2.80 go?

or are you saying that mu dropped their entire cost structure over 40% in 2 months - something that has never happened before.
