Well, the people that hype stocks have IR firms, PR firms, advertise in the phone book, have web sites, send out spam, etc. In other words, they are pretty high profile. I've yet to get a spam telling me to short a stock because it's a PoS. I've never gotten a newsletter about which stocks someone thinks should be bashed. I've never seen a web site proclaiming that you can hire them to bash a stock. However, Yellow Pages are local so I thought perhaps in your area the paid bashers might advertise there. Guess not. Have you tried hanging out in your local park at night and asking around?
