DS, Here is an article that you may have missed from the FC thread: exchange2000.com I think the deal is good for EMC, and bad for everyone else in the midrange market. Whatever shortcomings Clariion has, EMC will fix them. DGN has a supply agreement Dell, just as EMC does, and this will undoubtedly cement that relationship. It also gives EMC a whole new world to strangle, whoops, I mean enter. Their sales people are probably licking their chops now in their ice cold showers as they get ready to do war in a new arena.
