Thanks for the seven year info on the @Home deal..

You comment that AOL will not make as much off cable broadband as xDSL. Probably true but, more importantly, they will retain existing customers. I would guess that the first customers for any AOL broadband, cable or xDSL, will be existing AOL customers, a cannibalizing effect. Without both cable and xDSL available, AOL risks losing customers as those customers grow more sophisticated about Internet options. And, obviously, AOL's greatest strength--according to the article, what got T's attention--is its customer base.
