There had been many "great" eclipses in the past. Which eclipse was Nosty referring to? The forthcoming one, I suppose. If that be so, then it seems he might be referring to the appearance of some Messianic character? Let's see whether any mass-hysteria arises from this latest translation. But I doubt it. Hhmmm, it could be the Pope conferring extra title and power on himself after the Year 2000 Jubilee Celebrations in Jerusalem come this X'mas season/early 2000 A.D. Before then or after, it is expected that a Second Vatican, under the authority/administration of the Vatican in Rome, would have been created in Jerusalem, as a meeting place of the world's major religions. Seems to me the Pope wants to ascend the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem and exhort the masses in fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. Looks to me he wants to be the 'top dog' in the world of religions.
