AS, i have to agree with you that bearish sentiment seems a bit excessive right now. however, should the market's character have changed, which is possible due to rising inflationary pressures, the sentiment indicators can cease to work for a while. if the market's primary trend is still intact it should manage a strong bounce from here, with sentiment and other technical indicators screaming oversold. if no strong bounce is forthcoming, we will have confirmation that the medium term trend has changed. regards, hb
