A Manipulated Nut Selloff,

Imo, not much "manipulation" up or down for e-bay. My view re-Ebay:

In 3/99, before e-bay's 3:1 split, ebay's float was 3.5M shares with 2.2M short interest. Currently, the float is 33M shares with 4.5M shorted and a 50% institutional ownership in the float(institutions own approx. 15M shares as last reported.)

This means that the other 22M shares in the float(33M+4.5M-15M) are in the retail hands and many were purchased after 3/99. Imagine those A/Cs balances? and the margin pressure?
