mlco at 16 3/8 continues to show a bid of 1k, but has sucked up in excess of 100k shares just at 16 3/8. why? why has merril been such a strong buyer at these levels? a 10k at 16 3/8, mlco sucked it up. i predict some news on idtc will be released shortly. mlco does not need to chase the price higher to purchase, people continue to sell right into their bid. clearly we can say no short covering has occurred, just a lot of sellers, which surprises me. p.s. there goes a 50k at 16 7/16 (the ask) p.s.s. what is also surpising is the fact mash has put out a block of 10k at 16 7/16 (ask), something that is normally broken down into smaller blocks to hide the size, but mlco stayed in at 16 3/8.
