<We continue to like EMC shares as this is a long term strategic positive for EMC. One issue in the short term is the server business and whether EMC can maintain 30% revenue growth with drag from server business.(S. Milunovich)< The thing that worries me is Milunovich's concern with the 30+ growth rate even if it is short term. Didn't EMC reassure in last week's meeting that the growth rate would be 35%? I find it hard to believe that they had not already made a decision to buy DGN by the time the meeting took place. I have been holding on to my EMC shares based on the 30+ growth assumption. Hopefully management will clarify that for us soon.
