Yes, flash memory will be one of the new market lead players in the semi sector. If you want to play semis, you should have some shares related to flash memory. However, the flash memory playing can only benefit AMAT in limited $$$ unless the mass productions in place. I think next year will be the real year for flash memory when cable and wireless start to be widely accepted by internet users. Larger amounts of use in laptop computers and other hand-held computing devices will help for the rapid expanding of flash memory. The recent up-moving of AMAT is for the coming beating earnings. The average estimates is $0.52. I am expecting $0.55 per share. Good luck!
