Ah, but E, you don't understand. Remember the song the Mills Brothers use to sing? You always hurt the one you love, The one you shouldn't hurt at all. You always take the sweetest rose, Crush it 'till the pedals fall. You always break the kindest heart With a hasty word you can't recall, So, If I broke your heart last night It's because I love you most of all. It's like that with X. Her love is so deep that she has to keep trying to deny it. But I know the truth. I know she loves me truly. Or, as they sang in Sister Act: "Nothing you can say can tear me away from my guy...my guy." And nothing she can say can tear her away from loving me. So don't cry for me. Just recognize true love when you see it.
