<<Any opinons on the new head of CMP R&D?>> I have never met Kabele. One reason is that he has no experience in CMP, and I've been working in CMP for the last several years. Having worked at Tektronix, as did Faubert, I suspect that Faubert brought him in because he thinks his management skills can overcome his shortcomings with the CMP technical details. To tell the truth, a solid manager who can manage the execution of a development project would do SFAM more good than some narrow technocrat. Still, with SpeedFam-IPEC's big market share, I'm a bit disappointed that they couldn't attract someone with both good project management and the CMP technical experience. Oh well. Let's give Kabele the benefit of the doubt. I've been impressed with most of the personnel decisions Faubert has made. Maybe this one will turn out OK, too. Profitable investing, Mr. Sam
