Greg, from the article you reference:

"We will deliver those solutions in two ways:

Directly - Solutions created and sold by Wind River, like
Tornado for Managed Switches, Tornado for I2O, and others that will follow, and

Indirectly (through partners) - For example, we issued an
announcement yesterday (May 20, 1999) afternoon about
the success of our strategic relationship with Liberate
Technologies (formerly known as NCI). Liberate is an
example of a very high-value solution product. Liberate
focuses on the TV technology and Wind River handles the
operating system details and development tools. This
relationship has provided the opportunity for us to be part
of key TV deals at AOL, US West, Cable and Wireless, and
Hughes Network Systems, to name a few. It is a targeted
partnership for delivering a very specific solution."

I must have missed this in the last conference call..I especially like the part about "...part of key TV deals at AOL.." This is the stuff they should be announcing...

Also later in the article Jerry mentions that they are in 50% of the car navigation systems...
It is only a matter of time before the market wakes up and smells the potential, in spite of Mr. Softee.
