<<I liked Mitchum in the hunted (?) >>

You mean "Night of the Hunter"? Where he was a preacher and had love and hate on his knuckles?

Mitchum did "Cape Fear" so much better than DiNiro. The slut was really scared and Mitchum didn't touch her but you could feel the evil she felt. DiNiro roughed her up and she was a little spooked.

BTW, in the original, the set people missed the door Mitchum shoved Polly Bergan through and she was really hurt. The scene was going so well that they kept shooting.

HILLARY CLINTON AND THE TAX CUTS
By Neal Boortz

Hillary made a stop in Brooklyn yesterday. She told her audience that the Republican-backed $800 billion tax cut would destroy the public schools there. She attacked the plan using the Democratic Party's script, calling it "a fiscally irresponsible, damaging plan" and claimed the tax cut would kill funding for 7,200 new teachers in New York state. If the American public was informed --- or cared to be informed --- about the tax cut proposals these lies wouldn't work.

There are four basic facts to remember about the tax cut debate.

1.)Both the Republicans and the Democrats have agreed to set aside two-thirds of this so-called "surplus" to "save" Medicare and Social Security and pay down the national debt.

2.)Clinton wants to spend the remaining one-third on new government spending programs.

3.)The Republicans want to give the remaining one-third back to the people the government took it from.

4.)Government spending on virtually ALL mandatory and discretionary spending programs – including education – will increase under the Republican tax cut plan.

Hillary lies. Her sorry husband lies. Al Gore lies. Tom Daschle lies. Dick Gephardt lies. The truth is not important to them because they know that a sympathetic media will let them get away with any lie they tell.
