Interesting idea, I'll take a look and see what happens.

Yep, nothing has come up of consequence.

I was thinking about this one. If it is plug & play related, either the BIOS or Windows itself is re-asserting these lines which must have been set-up originally. Now that the software has been removed though, I should have been able to see these lines referenced in the registry...which I don't.
