The wild swings in KOOP were due to the uncertainty in the upcoming earnings. Company's revenues went from 40K to 400K. Everyone bid up due to expected whopping revenues (and some had to be on the winning bandwagon). After all, it was #1 in the Media Metrix surveys for April and May for the internet website stocks. When the quarterly earning came out, we learned KOOP only netted a $1M from internet advertising. Then the stock really tanked from $30 level to $15. I fully expect KOOP to reach $8 because its own media releases has said it will not expect profits until year 2001. Healtheon has also taking it turn at the whipping post too. At least they are advertising in Chicago. I expect this advertising will vault them past KOOP in the Media Metrix numbers in the August or September.
