Those benchmarks are nothing to laugh at, that is, unless you don't look at the Intel benchmarks! "But can you explain the compression of Windows 98 Winstone 99 scores at the high end? An Athlon-600 barely scores above the Athlon-550, but there is much better scalability in Windows NT. Is the Windows 98/Winbench 99 combo disk bound, or main memory speed bound?" I wouldn't know. Scumbria has said Winstone 99 is memory bandwidth limited, or something to that extent. So when the Athlon begins to support PC133, I guess it will scale better. Scumbria where are you on this day???
