Pacific Sunwear's Second Quarter EPS Increases 53% $0.23 vs. $0.15 2Q EPS >>...''As previously announced, we plan to open 125 new stores in the year 2000, which equates to an approximate 34% increase in store square footage. Today we are also announcing that 40 of the 125 new stores will be d.e.m.o. stores, effectively doubling the size of the d.e.m.o. chain from 40 stores at the end of 1999 to 80 stores at the end of 2000. The d.e.m.o. concept, which was launched in April 1998, caters to a completely different customer than Pacific Sunwear with no merchandise or brand overlap. Duane, I wonder what it's going to take to send this stock over the line at 26+? Maybe we need a board shorts shortage.......(say it 3X fast!).... Did you see WFR today?! I also see some more news on CTEC.....and another of my sleepers broke out yesterday (VERA)........but, didn't I say I was tired of this market? Forget that. I am actually becoming intrigued by this market. It has truly become a stock picker's market, especially now that the internets have fallen. In a way, I hope they stay down for awhile ..........except for ATHM. Only one problem, should we take the money and run? INDU: Recovering? Falling? Major Top? or Whattheheck?
