Said T wanted $10 and AOL $3.
This I believe. More than 3x difference!

Vast gap between the two. Its why AOL and ATHM have never been able to make a deal either.

<<Faber on CNBC discussed todays rumor. He said that according to his sources T and AOL have met but no agreements reached. Said according to his sources one topic has been AOL access fees to T's cable. Said T wanted $10 and AOL $3. >>

If this is true it is great. I think most of the rumors, stories, and denials of the last few days have been little more than position statements to weaken the case for 'open access'. T establishes that it is not trying to maintain a monopoly, the access is available -- at the right price. AOL thinks it should have it cheap, T says not so. Most of this noise is AOL trying to save it's butt, and T and ATHM trying not to be dragged down with it.
