to: MNI from: truedog Thank's for the birthday wishes. I hope you realized that the "react" comment was said in jest and I was just pulling your leg a bit. Wild west movies were grossly inaccurate in the historic aspect. As you said, making money was the prime concern and history be damned. BTW, "Dynasty" was located in Colorado instead of Texas but, if you ever saw "Dallas" you saw the Texas version of a prime time soap opera. Total fiction!! One problem facing people from other counties in understanding us is that even our History text books taught in school have been skewed to fit the opinions of the author. I consider this to be unfair to our children and is like saying that they are not able to handle the truth. I disagree with this concept. Thank you for your interest in learning about us and your fairness in searching for different viewpoints. TD
