TL,

You have to admit this is all pretty exciting. We have never had so many shorts here. I like their contribution. There is a time and a place for everything. After earnings today, I would imagine most of the shorts will be gone. The fear will be out of the stock and IMO buyers, including you, will return. Subscriber growth will carry Checkfree forward. Until then, we wait and bight some fingernails.

I am not on margin, so I just have paper losses at this point. I would imagine 35 by the end of next week is possible, but so is 16 as you so kindly put it when we were trading at 33. I think the $225.00 by the end of 2001 is still a lay-up. My only fear is that another company buys CKFR out at $60.00 per share in the meantime.

I have calmed down and I am now seeing the forest for the trees. That usually means that we are in for a huge downturn(ggg), ooops I think that may have happened already.

Regards,

Rob
