That's what I am thinking, at least when you look at real earnings. The transaction can be accretive from an accounting standpoint, though, if EMC manages to write off enough 'acquired R&D' (read 'disguised operating') expense.

EMC may not be able to close down Aviion but they can put such little money and effort into it that the drain might be insignificant.
