I think the market has been spooked by the possibility of a interest rate hike. I am not going to worry until I see a rise of the prime to 8 percent or above. Historically the market responds well in the beginning of a interest rate hike as I recall from my Economics class so long ago. . The charts back this up. So no matter what the fed does (assuming the world doesn't end Jan. 2000) I don't think we will see 8 percent anytime soon. So buy or hold LTX and any other stocks you like and lets ride! Moneyguy

Daaan, Excuse my delay in reply...was indisposed. Good observation about the fears on rate increase. It turned into the excuse for a good rally. And perhaps that is happening again. Good thinking!
The LTXX stockholder base, as I recall, actually includes quite a few funds, surprisingly. Because I bought quite a bit of LTXX coming off the Oct lows, I'm one of those folks who have such strong gains in a relatively short period, that we could consider selling. But I'm not-- Maybe I'm naive, but it seems that the trend to smaller chip line widths, which LTXX is riding, is just getting underway. System on a Chip is not just LSI's slogan anymore -- everybody is headed that direction, and they need good testers...as best I can understand, LTXX' testers are the current head of the pack. So if the trend continues, so does LTXX, right?
Simplistic, perhaps, but not unduly optimistic, wouldn't you agree?

Daaan...have you noticed that Yahoo has been carrying the Broker Rating on LTXX at 1.67? They show two "Strong Buy", and one "Hold". That doesn't track with the 1.33 rating I calculate for Needham, Lehman, and Gruntal....so I sent out the following to Yahoo:
Hi,
Love Yahoo Finance!! Is an update in order for LTXX?
Current Rating on LTXX shows two "Strong Buy" ((1)), One
"Hold"((3))
biz.yahoo.com
Elsewhere, Yahoo shows:
Gruntal: Strong Buy ((1))
Needham: Strong Buy ((1))
Lehman : Outperform ((2)) --Their second highest rating, 2 of 5
biz.yahoo.com
Could the Research Summary be updated to reflect the current
ratings of these companies?..
Thanks!
Duane Olson
I don't know what it's worth, but Yahoo does a ranking of companies within industry, based on their research summary number. Would not like to see LTXX unduly low on the list! <G>
