LOL! Terry, greed and lust are not the motivating forces in human life...the motivating force is to have a sense of amounting to something in the scheme of things, to have created, contributed, been worthy of admiration or gratitude. Everyone, unless they have just given up, is hustling for respect, and when they put forth serious positions as in the global warming controversy, they are, in a manner of speaking, putting themselves on the line, their sense of themselves as being concerned about larger things. They will not listen to you if you refuse to take them seriously in the first place. If all you want to do is whack them, then you may not care, but if you would like yourself to influence public debate, think about it.....
