I wouldn't be nervous...here's my take on the situation

1. T will be under some scrutiny from the FCC...this little round of BS will help the FCC believe that open access is near...therefore taking some of the heat off T and @home. Unfortunately shorts will use this opportunity to tell you the sky is falling...etc...

2. Within 2 years many, many AOL users will migrate to ATHM...AOL is terrified of this...they realize it is likely. I can't wait till I have @home...the vast majority of people that have the choice are taking @home...I currently have TCI cable TV, and @home should be here within months...I will certainly switch

3. The only thing that AOL has to fight back with is DSL and the FCC. I know if AOL was able to provide DSL now, I would certainly try it, however, as soon as the @home showed up, I would still switch. As for the FCC...AOL has not been able to change their mind...

Think about which service you would use...think about the many satisfied @home users there are...
