Update On Status Of Bellevue #1-17 Replacement Well At East Lost Hills
CALGARY, ALBERTA--The participants in the Bellevue #1-17R-ST3 replacement well at East Lost Hills report that a 7'' casing string has been successfully cemented in place from a depth of 17,100 feet to surface.

Bellevue Resources, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Elk Point Resources Inc. and operator of the well, reports that drilling on the well resumed on August 10, 1999. The well is targeting the Temblor formation with a planned total depth of approximately 19,000 feet.
