This is the slow death, cancerous type of negative trading activity that is psychologically damaging to the average investor. Hence, I think we will continue to go down with brief cut and run intermittent rallies that only the resident trader can capitalize on. Good points... If we don't get heavy panic selling we could go the route of 1973-74 where the market dropped over 40% over a period of almost a year... But then again, they didn't have the instantaneous communications capability that we have today... Things happen faster... As such, I think there will be a moment of capitulation in the next two months... Jim
