The greatest growth in 1998 for alternative energy was wind.
hydrogen and natural gas fed fuel cells are next. The hydrogen industry has grown at a 29.5% annual growth rate for the last 5 years studied, (92-97), and with people like Ford, GM and DCX behind fuel cells for cars, and utilities lining up to purchase them for backup power to keep people cool in the summer, and warm in the winter, it is clearly in my mind the next major growth industry, and I am getting on board as Andrew Carnegie got on the railroads.
