boy am i glad that i sold those puts yesterday,,,
glad that i followed rule # 1 in trading,,"never, ever,be afraid to take a profit" this turn around in the nets is very wierd considering the market conditions,i don't know if this is a bottom or not but somthing is definately up because alot of buying all of a sudden in the net sector, the last week rally was stopped dead in it's tracks by the employment report, imo the market has priced in another 25 basis point raise and is assuming so,,if the fed raise and takes a neutral bias we might see a rally, this is a very dangerous point to short the thing that can stop this rally is the cpi,gdp coming this week but the market is already expecting bad news so anything other is a surprise for the upside,,the best place to be now is the sidelines,,the only stock i own i bought today is athm for a long term portfolio(10 years),otherwise all cash,,,ebay may stay in this range until options expiry since so many puts were bought friday after the outage,,
i am cash until after the y2k to see how this whole thing plays out...
