None of this matters, of course. My only reason for bringing it up is in order to demonstrate that when you make statements like "most SI members think..." or "the majority are complacent", etc., you should base them on something more than your own perceptions. Because perceptions are tricky -- they can trick you into seeing things that aren't there.


Well I'd certainly be willing to do that jbe if people on this thread would stop speaking for me.

I can't tell you how many times I've read what the users want here and it is not what I want. For example, I don't want to have 2 browsers open to read SI, as one post indicated as the ideal. This is because I already have 2 browsers up getting my real time quotes. Add two more for SI and you have 4, thats too much, even for a 21" monitor. I see a lot of statements made like that... the old charts are better, etc.? For who? Serious investors love those iqc charts (I actually prefer bigcharts.com).

Are you saying the minority opinion is not entitled to erroneous generalizations whereas your side is? How unsportsmanlike!
