Russia's Future -- Who knows?

Thanks for the heads-up on CORL. They are another stock I've followed for years. They may finally get back onto solid ice financially with the latest versions of WordPerfect Suite, Corel Draw, and their new Linux OS and Suite.

You are right about Russia. Their politics are truly Byzantine - full of behind-the-scenes maneuverings. The last I checked, there were about 5 different power groups competing with one another, and within each power group, there is another power struggle going on.

A visiting colleague from St. Petersburg once told me that as a business owner in St. Petersburg, you can buy protection from one of three groups: the police, the "mafiya", or the KGB. Once you are paying through the nose to one of the three, the other two will leave you alone.

I'd love to see TRF back up to $19 but I don't expect it to happen soon.

Best wishes!
