Define 'surplus' please. This is important - because you imply that most CBs want to sell gold - clearly not the case. And it's not altogether clear how much some CBs have to sell as they have leased so much out. d

The truth is that CB's have sold very little gold in the last 30-40 years are will not sell a lot more in the next 30-40 years.
