I'm out of Yahoo puts too. Cramer posted his trade, and within 15 minutes yahoo has risen 5 points to go positive.

There are only two explanations- Cramer heard of some fund buying or some upcoming insider news, or there are enough investors who follow his advice to move the stock.

I'm certain it was explanation #1. He spent all of yesterday saying he wasnt going anywhere near the nets for a while, I highly doubt he just "changed his mind" on Yahoo specifically without hearing something.

Olu - you may be right. I just covered my EBAY short at 85.5 for a 3.5 point loss (covered PCLN as well for a 1 point loss). I think both will go lower, but I exercise a high degree of caution with short positions, and I don't care to go far into the red on a CSCO inspired rally.

Best of luck to you.
