Louis- thanks for the article.

This is about on the order of the "17" iMac" story that turned out to be a Studio Display.

Do you think it is intentional misinformation that the doofus says the iMac has only one USB port? Since the guy is a journalist, and his editor looked at it, and they proclaim themselves experts, do you think Apple can sue for defamation of iCharacter?

Web
(ROFL! I guess there are still those who will be surprised at what's going to happen in the laptop market.)

<<The columnist, not quite informed clearly, says the iMac only has one USB port (it has two)>>

The columnist, not quite informed clearly about the Wintel iMac clones also says, "...similarities only go skin deep. They?ve still got ?Intel Inside? as well as disk drives, serial ports and all the other trappings of a Wintel clone. "

Well they don't all have disk drives!

dailynews.yahoo.com

"The (Dell) Easy PC will also shed parallel ports, serial ports and ISA support. No more floppy drive, either. It will come in a variety of designs, including an all-in-one package similar to Apple Computer Inc.'s iMac, said Steve Whalley, Intel's PC initiatives manager, in Chandler, Ariz."

This guy needs to go back to computer school!

<<For all of you who do not regularly read Windows Magazine (most of you, I am guessing)>>

How true. Sun Tsu I believe once said, "know thy enemy".

I recommend each Mac user take a Wintel PC course. Even better, go to a garage sale and pick up a used PC for 5 bucks or so.
