The problem is; how many more ticking Rosner timebombs are there out there which will have to be written off? Kryotech, Powercold, Ultralife Batteries, Frigc..... I do disagree with you Tom about the damage to the balance sheet. It's true that cash flow is not impacted but shareholders' equity on the balance sheet took a major hit with that writeoff. This changes the debt/equity ratio and makes this company look riskier, at least in my eyes. I wouldn't want to be in Glenn Epstein's shoes right now. I'd also feel better about this management if Glenn were to bring in some of his own people. Except for the new manager at APD I think the rest are old Rosner cronies.
